Smoked Apple Chutney


0.5kg apples; peeled, cored and cut into small cubes
½ medium sized onion, cut into small cubes
100g raisins
250g brown sugar
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp freshly minced ginger
½ tsp salt
225mL apple cider vinegar


  1. Prepare Smoker and smoke apple pieces for 30-45 minutes with Maple bisquettes at 150-165°F
  2. Combine apples and all other ingredients in a medium sized sauce pan and simmer for 30-40 minutes
